Nashville High School Trip 2022 

The Nashville 2022 student mission team will be working alongside our mission partners at La Casa Church, a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual church in the heart of Nashville. Opportunities for ministry and evangelism will be made possible in several neighborhoods surrounding the church. The Nashville team will assist La Casa Church by conducting activities in an effort to reach Nashville for Christ. Most importantly, there will be opportunities for personal spiritual growth, relationship development among team members, meaningful devotional and worship time, and quiet times for reflection and prayer.  The team will be staying at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan where students will enjoy an outdoor fitness area, climbing wall, zip line, sports fields, and lakeside cabin lodging.

APPLICATION OPENS: November 8, 8PM
APPLICATION DEADLINE: December 5, midnight
$200 DEPOSIT DUE: December 5, midnight

TRIP COST:  

• $1100 per person covers airfare, ground transportation, meals, accommodations, team t-shirt, travel insurance, devotional journal. 
• Team members are responsible for their own spending money for snacks or souvenirs.
• Payment due dates:
  • Payment #1                December 5              $200
  • Payment #2               January 5                  $450
  • Payment #3               February 5                 $450
• LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE CHARGED $500 FOR FIRST PAYMENT
• All financial obligations for the trip are the responsibility of the team member. Failure to meet financial deadlines may result in cancellation of being a team member. 
• Payment #1 for $200 is paid using the credit card on file with the online application or by a check made out to Christ Journey Church. Please notify the Missions Office with your preference, otherwise your credit card will be charged $200 on 12/5/21.

• Serve as a volunteer at Christ Journey Church, school or community
• Be involved regularly in Student Ministry at Christ Journey Church
• Attend all team meetings and participate in team fundraising events
• Be a current high school student

All team members are to make their own decisions regarding immunizations and medicines for travel based on CDC recommendations and consultation with a primary care physician.
 
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBLITY:
Acceptance onto the team requires an immediate $200 deposit with the credit card on file or by check. All financial obligations for the trip are the responsibility of the team member. Failure to meet financial deadlines may result in cancellation of being a team member. Remember to trust God to provide as you respond to the call to go on mission – “Where God guides, He provides!”

DONATIONS:
Any monetary donations designated for a team member are tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS and are non-refundable.
 
FINAL PAYMENT:
If final payment is not completed by the deadlines set above, the credit card on file with Service Reef will be charged the remainder of the trip cost owed at least 14 days before the first day of trip.

SPECIAL NOTE:
If the number of applications for this trip exceeds the number of available spaces, then priority will be given to Christ Journey members and then to Christ Journey attendees. Applicants who are not members of or who do not attend Christ Journey Church will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only if there is space available.
