The 12th grade student mission team will be working alongside the field staff of Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Florida in the Caribbean region. This will be a journey for our seniors to a place where the church is alive, vibrant and passionate for Christ. Students will have opportunities to build lasting friendships while utilizing their gifts to share the Gospel. Connecting with the local people and experiencing the regional culture are two main goals of this experience. The Christ Journey student team will assist local churches by conducting discipleship, outreach, and activities in an effort to reaching others for Christ. Most importantly, there will be opportunities for personal spiritual growth, relationship development among team members, meaningful devotional and worship time, and quiet times for reflection and prayer. * Location and activities are subject to change. *

PASSPORT & VISA REQUIREMENT: All team members MUST have a copy of their passport (valid through 9/30/19) and visa application turned into the Missions Office by November 30th. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this requirement.

Trip Costs:

• $1750 per person
• Cost covers airfare, ground transportation, meals, accommodations, taxes, tariffs & fees, team shirt, travel insurance, devotional journal.
• Team members are responsible for their own spending money for snacks or souvenirs. 

• Deposit               November 7              $250
• Payment #1        December 15            $500
• Payment #2        January 15                $500
• Final Payment     February 15              $500 (or $300 if discount is applied)

Discount: A $200 discount will be applied to the trip cost if the team member's application is received by October 21st.

Deposit: The $250 deposit is paid using the credit card on file with this application or by a check made out to Christ Journey Church. Please notify the Missions Office with your preference, otherwise your credit card will be charged $250 on 11/7.

Requirements:
- Passport expiration must be valid for six months past the planned date of trip
- Visa application and copy of passport must be turned into the Missions Office by 11/30/18 (no exceptions)
- Serve as a volunteer at Christ Journey Church, school or community
- Attend all team meetings and participate in team fundraising events

Immunizations: All team members are to make their own decisions regarding immunizations and medicines for in-country travel based on the CDC recommendations and consultation with a primary care or international travel physician. Immunization expenses are the responsibility of the team member.

Financial Responsibilty: Acceptance onto the team requires an immediate $250 deposit with the credit card on file or by check given to the Missions Office within one week of being accepted onto the team. ALL financial obligations for the trip are the responsibility of the team member. Failure to meet financial deadlines may result in cancellation of being a team member. 

Donations: Any monetary donations designated for a team member are tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS and are non-refundable.

Special Note: If the number of applications for this trip exceeds the number of available spaces, then priority will be given to Christ Journey Church members and then to Christ Journey attendees.  Applicants who are not members of or who do not attend Christ Journey Church will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only if there is space available. Christ Journey Missions Office reserves the right to accept or not accept team members.
