TML - Summer Camp 2019
TML Summer Camp 2019
Touching Miami with Love’s mission is to “share the love of Christ by providing hope, opportunities, and resources.” Each summer TML offers church groups the opportunity to volunteer during their Summer Camp weeks to assist and lead daily activities for hundreds of children in Homestead. By serving at TML Summer Camp week you have an opportunity to show children that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.
Christ Journey Students will be serving during the week of July 22-26 from 7:30AM to 6:00PM. Registration is open to high school students who have completed 9th grade and are at least 15 years old. Our team will lead devotional time, visual arts and themed enrichment and assist camp staff led activities of social skills, literacy and computers.
Volunteers who are under 18 years old must complete a release of liability, signed by student & parent.
Volunteers who are 18 years or older must complete an online background check.
NOTE: All team members must complete this online form - http://bit.ly/SummerVolunteerForm
The TML Summer Guidebook will be given to each student volunteer and must be reviewed thoroughly before serving for the week. Each student volunteer must understand we are guests at TML and must adhere to their policies and rules of conduct. If a Christ Journey student does not adhere to these policies they will be asked to leave the group and a parent will be required to pick them up at the TML location.
